Planning permission was granted for 4 net zero homes on a backland site at Bohemia Road in Hastings. Following two previous refusals prior to our involvement, we successfully addressed two of the four previous reasons for refusal and got the application called in to be heard at planning committee.
It was pleasing that the committee recognised that significant housing land supply shortfall in Hastings and the benefits of 4 new net zero homes, who voted against the Officer recommendation to grant permission.
